What this unique workout - Dance Pulse can do for you!

Do you enjoy dance?  There is NOTHING like this anywhere!! 
Strength, tone and warm up section created to use your own body which creates the defined lines, elongated and toned body of a dancer! 
Then after a mini dance lesson to get the most of the choreography, get ready to shine through easy-to-follow choreography that uses the music as a
reason to move and not just for background!  You will FEEL like that dancer doing real choreography! 

Finally, stretching is VITAL to a healthy body.  We dim the lights and use calming music to rejuvenate and stretch out those hard worked muscles which increases your physical, mental AND emotional health!  Yes, exercise should feel like a party but it should also get you a complete workout!!!  You'll get that with  the Dance Pulse experience!

    Dance Pulse Class Description
    Purpose:
    For the non-experienced to experienced dancer to enjoy a full body workout by using the music as a reason for movement and not just as background while focusing on improving intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual, social and dance health.

    Benefits:

                + Learn musicality and feeling movement through music
                + Camaraderie through choreography and make new friends
                + Strengthen, tone and elongate muscles that are common to  dancers
                + Build dance techniques at various levels
                + Move/dance to different styles of music
                + Use of different muscles/parts of the body using different choreography
                + Increase memory and cognitive strength through learning choreography
                + Increase coordination
                + Find personal level of challenge
                + Increase awareness and strength of the core area
                + RELIEVE stress!
                + Enjoy movement with others with like goals

    Format (I hour):

    Sculpt and Tone:
    15
    minutes -
    (ends with a mini lesson on choreography)
    For a long, lean, dancer type body, we warm up muscles, stretch, tone, strengthen, define dance placement,  increase body/mind connection  and movement focusing on the types of techniques in ballet, jazz, yoga and pilates styles.

     

    Cardio Dance: 35 minutes -
    SIMPLE, directed choreography of non-stop cardio dancing to different styles of music adding some formations including group and partnerships.  Pop, Latin, country, rock and roll, 50’s, cultural, etc. choreography with the emphasis on their different strength points will be repeated every class for reinforced memory of choreography with a change in a new routine every 4 weeks.

     

    Stretch and Refocus:  10 minutes
    Cool down, relaxation, body awareness, breath focus, stretch to calming music and sounds using yoga and dance type movement.
